Cobcraft Kiln Safety Stands – Octagon, Hexagon, Mini & Decagon
Cobcraft kiln safety stands are engineered to securely support your kiln while allowing safe, easy removal for servicing. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, these stands are built from heavy‑gauge, powder‑coated steel and purpose‑made for the Cobcraft range of kilns.
Each stand includes pre‑drilled mounting holes for dynabolting to a concrete floor, along with sliding safety tabs that lock the kiln in place during operation but can be released quickly when the kiln needs to be lifted off for maintenance.

Cobcraft Kiln Stands
When you position your kiln on the stand, the mild steel tabs will retract. Once the kiln is in place, you can raise the tabs into position and secure them with bolts to prevent any further movement.
The heights of the stands are as follows: the Octagon 5 raises the working height by 125 mm, while the Octagon 3.2 increases the working height by 225 mm.
Additionally, this design ensures adequate airflow for the safety of the kiln. Each foot of the stand is equipped with a hole for dynabolting to the floor, ensuring that the kiln remains stable and does not move.
