Our refurbished Cobcraft kilns undergo a full factory‑level rebuild to ensure they perform as reliably as a new kiln. Every second‑hand kiln receives the same attention to detail, safety checks, and component upgrades we apply to our production models.
What’s Included in a Full Refurbishment
Every refurbished kiln is rebuilt with:
New refractory bricks
New heating elements
New hot‑face fibre insulation
A fully repacked lid with new cuplocks
Electrical inspection and replacement of any components that require updating
A fitted Bentrup socket, ready to connect to your preferred Bentrup controller
Each kiln is test‑fired and quality‑checked before leaving our workshop.
Controller Compatibility
All refurbished kilns are supplied with a Bentrup socket, allowing you to choose any controller from our Controller Category that matches the socket type. Thermocouple and socket selection is not required for refurbished units — they are supplied ready to plug into a Bentrup controller.
